- Northgate Mall:
There is a free play area at the north end of the mall. Generally better for the 5 and unders, especially as there
is a height limit. California Pizza Kitchen is located near the play area and is child-friendly. There is also a family restroom near

- OmTots:
A play gym for children up to age 5 located inside OmCulture. Check website for more details (Wallingford)
- Seattle Gymnastics Academy Indoor Playground:
During certain times the gym is open for free play for 5 and unders (Ballard, also Lake City)
- Seattle Meowtropolitan:
A cat cafe with both resident felines and cats for adoption. Children must be 8 and older; for a fee you can interact with the cats in the cat lounge. Booking ahead is recommended as they fill up fast (Wallingford)
- Seattle Parks and Recreation Community Centers:
Many of Seattle's community centers have playrooms or gyms set up with active toys, open during the school year. Generally
geared towards the toddler and preschooler set. Check websites for times.
- University Village:
Hosts 'Village Playdays' every Tuesday at 10 AM with story times and kids' activities, each week at a different shop.
Also includes a covered outdoor play area (probably best for 5 and unders), many kid-friendly eateries, a kids' hair
salon, shops selling items for children, and 'Paint the Town', a paint-your-own ceramics outfit that welcomes children (U-District)
- Vios Cafe:
A Greek cafe with a children's play area. Also located next to Third Place Books (Ravenna)
- Wunderkind:
A cafe with two separate play areas: A Lego Duplo building area for ages 18 months to 4 years, and a Lego building area for
ages 4 and up. Entry fee is $6 per child (Ravenna)
- Zoomazium:
An indoor play area located at the Woodland Park Zoo for kids 8 and under. Has active play features and a stage with regular presentations (Phinney Ridge)

This park surrounds Green Lake, and has many components. On the north side there is a large wading pool that is open

- Kirke Park:
A small neighborhood park with a playground and p-patch (Whitter Heights/Ballard/Phinney Ridge)
- Laurelhurst Playfield:
